Hellesylt vandrerhjem & camping has 13 cottages, 10 of them are 4-bedded and have a beautiful view over Hellesylt and the fjord. The other three cottages are 6-bedded. There are blankets and pillows in the cottages, and you can either bring your own bed sheets or rent them in the hostel. A table, chairs, refrigiator and cooking plates are also in every cottage, and you can borrow any other equipment from the guest kitchen. Showers and toilets are in the main building.

The cottages are also perfectly suitable for groups (contact us for group prices and offers).

Prices 2011

Cottage for 2-4 persons NOK 550,-

Cottage for 5-6 persons NOK 650,-

The breakfast is not included in the price of the cottages, but can be paid for seperately. The price is NOK 60,- per person for a rich buffet with a big selection of food and drinks.

Wonderfull breakfast, and a very nice Fjord view. I think t was a bit hard to find it at night, so I suggest studying well the map before going

Very good location for visiting Geiranger Fjord. Everything was fine, and price was very ok (one of the cheaper hostels on our trip). The building, bedrooms etc. are a little older, so that could be renovated.

The staff was very friendly. The single-room was clean, with good facilities. Breakfast was very good, a lot of things to choose from. The whole hostel had a really nice atmosphere. Good value for money. Thanks for the nice time. Tom.

we have been travelling since 6/15 and have stayed at youth hostels. and yours is the best, particularly the view from the dining room, kitchen, patio, and sitting room. anne, the staff on duty, is very nice too. if we get a chance to travel to the area, we definitely will stay in your place or recommend your hostel to our friends. problem is norway is just too expensive, with the us$ devaluating each day. we also love your all your can eat buffet breakfast.

Lovely setting with fine views of the fjord. Well worth the walk up there. The weather was great and the staff very helpful and friendly.My single room was small but functional with a bunk bed, desk, chairs and washbasin. The staff kindly kept my luggage for the day while I went out walking. The bus stop for Alesund is just down from the hostel, which runs at least twice a day. Breakfast is plentiful and the room overlooks the fjord. The hostel also has some cabins facing the fjord.
